1 Day Muang Sing Tour

Highlight: Experience the beauty of landscape is predominantly Mountainous with elevation life. Live in a remote village hidden in the mountains, left in the fabrics of time. Feel the slow & tranquil lifestyle of these amazing minority groups in Northern Laos. And visiting the morning market the best places to see a different ethnic groups, We also visit a waterfalls and get historic of Taileu Minority Temples, Solidarity Stupa of ethnic people from Muang Sing region.

Departure from Nature Life office by Motorbike, Tuk-tuk or Minivan at 6:00 am. We will arrive Muang Sing in one and half hour driving (58 Km). We first visit the minority morning market is one of the best places to see ethnic groups, as people from Akha, Hmong, PhuNoi, Yao, TaiDam, Lolo, TaiLue, the villagers come to sell their fruits, vegetables, non-timber forest products and crafts. The market is also a great place to get to know local food such as soybean paste waffles and local sweets ‘Canome’ often made from sticky rice and coconut Muang Sing is also knows for its Kao Soi ‘Noodle soup’, which literally means “rice cut”, as the rice noodles are made by cutting a rice. After market we will visiting a live in a remote village, a different ethnic minority to learn a different culture and Life style. You will have lunch at Ban Ta Pao the minority of Tai Lue village, you will have a special meal prepared for you or you can cook with local people in a traditional food and eaten picnic style with local people. After lunch we take a walk to visit the temples to learn about the history of Taileu believe.

If we still have more time, we will visit the Siang Tung Stupa Solidarity stupa of ethnic people from Muang Sing region. On the way back to Luang Namtha, we will stop at the Akha market to see the people coming back from their forest carrying wild products for sell and visit the Lenlen village to learn about cotton-weaving, natural dying, bamboo paper making. Then return to Luang Namtha.
